Maya Turns 15.5

Welp...this is a first!  I/we totally missed an interview!  I have no idea why or how we missed it, but we definitely missed it.  Maya is now closer to 16 than she is to 15, but here we are.  Oh well, nothing I can do about it now.  Such is life...having a freshman, 8th grader, and a 5th grader...all of whom are deeply involved in at least one, if not three or four seriously committed activities.  Since I've missed this interview, Maya has been driving with us and attacking her freshman year fearlessly.  She has already completed successful seasons in both volleyball and basketball and is just about to start softball.  And, now in just a few short months, I'll be posting her sweet 16 birthday interview with a fully legally licensed driver!

Harper Turns 11

As our three girls continue to get older and older, these darn interviews get tougher and tougher to remember and to fit into our hectic schedules.  Granted...so far, we've only missed one birthday interview, which I guess isn't all that bad.  Nonetheless, regardless of how hard it is to fit these into our lives or to remember, they sure are fun to do and reflect upon.  Harper's birthday, in a way, is always a little special to me since she is nearly exactly 30 years apart from me.  Harper is your stereotypical youngest child, who gets what she wants and her parent's are the most lenient towards her...regardless of how much it pisses off her older two sisters.
